Ash Valley Farm Supplies, a simple Inglenook shunting layout, built to test lightweight layout construction. The whole thing weighs just 4 pounds (2Kg's) and measures 36 by 12 inches. Built to UK O scale (1:43.5) and using 9mm gauge track to depict a 15inch minimum gauge line.

My first attempt at modelling in Gn15, that is G scale (1:22.5) running on 16.5mm gauge track to depict a 15inch gauge railway. For it's scale this layout is very compact at 36 by 18 inches.

Built over a 10 day period as a temporary showcase for my range of loco and wagon kits, this layout is still serving well 5 years and many exhibitions later. The stock that runs on it changes and a few of the scenic details.
